Why trusted domains matter
Your installation snippet contains a public site identifier. Domain allowlisting prevents another website from copying that identifier and presenting itself as your support channel.
Add a domain
- Open Settings → Install on your site.
- Enter one host per line, without a path or protocol.
- Include each environment where you test the messenger.
- Save and reload the website.
Note: Ports are supported for local development, for example localhost:3000. Do not add URL paths such as /support.
