Choose the appearance
- Accent color for the launcher and primary actions.
- A light or dark theme for the chat window.
- Launcher position on the right or left side.
- The widget language, which also decides the default greeting.
- A support avatar that customers can recognize.
Note: Appearance lives in Settings → Widget → Appearance and applies to every site using this Site ID. A single page can override individual values through data attributes on the installation snippet.
Write a useful greeting
Keep the title short and use the description to set an expectation. A specific promise such as “We usually reply within a few minutes” is more useful than a generic welcome. Leave the greeting empty to use the default one for the selected language.
Customers see your customer-facing workspace name above the conversation. Set it in Settings → General when the internal workspace name is not the one you want people to read.
Preview and publish
The preview updates while you edit. Save when the message, color, language, position, and avatar work together. Existing installations receive the new configuration automatically.
