What the catalog is for
Products is the shared record of everything you sell: physical products, services, subscriptions, and unique items sold for a fixed period. When a customer asks what a plan includes or what something costs, the answer comes from one list instead of a spreadsheet somebody keeps privately.
Add a product
- Open Products and select Add product.
- Enter the name, an optional short name, and a code or SKU. The code has to be unique in the workspace.
- Choose the type — product, service, subscription, or unique — and a category if you already have one.
- Set the unit price and a three-letter currency code, then add a unit of measure such as piece, hour, or seat.
- Save. A unique product also asks for a duration and its unit, from minutes through to years.
Find anything quickly
Search matches the name, the code, and the description, so a customer quoting a SKU is enough to find the right row. The filters above the table narrow the list by type, category, and status while the search stays applied.
Note: Set a product to Inactive instead of deleting it when you stop selling something. The row keeps its code and price for reference, and the default filters keep it out of the way.
