What Outbound does
Inbox handles the conversations customers start. Outbound is the other direction: your team writes the first message and decides who sees it, on which page, and when. It covers three formats — a chat message inside the messenger, a banner on top of your website, and a short survey.
Open Outbound from the service rail on the left. The list shows every message in the workspace with its format, status, audience, and how many people it has reached, so you can see the whole programme at a glance instead of one campaign at a time.
Create a message
- 01
Select New message. The picker opens with popular templates first and the complete collection behind the filters.
- 02
Choose a template with ready-made copy and audience rules, or start from scratch and pick the format yourself.
- 03
Give the message a name your team will recognise in the list, then write the headline and the message body.
- 04
Check the From field. The sender is a real teammate, and the name and picture customers see come from that account.
Save a draft, then set it live
A new message is a draft, and Save and close keeps it that way for as long as you need. Nothing reaches a customer until you choose Set live and confirm. From that point the message is shown to everyone who matches your audience rules, both now and in the future.
